The BC7033A Battery Charger is a dual voltage, constant current device specially designed to extend the life of a diesel engine battery. The charger supplies current to the battery until the battery terminal voltage is equal to the set float voltage, at which point a trickle charge current is applied. When the battery voltage falls due to the battery being discharged, the charger will supply current to restore the voltage of the battery to the float. This keeps the battery fully charged and ensures the life of the battery.
